Head Start, reports to the Assistant to the Head Start Director
Under direction, performs clerical/secretarial and data entry duties to support efficient day-to-day operations of the Head Start Program such as: conducts telephone and visitors screenings; schedules meetings and appointments; prepares correspondence and draft letters for review as requested; maintains computerized and non-computerized files; types department related purchase orders; coordinate invoices, purchase orders, travel vouchers, and inventory tracking for supervisor’s review and approval; order office and program supplies; responds to inquiries. Provide backup on switchboard. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Completion of secondary education with course work in office practices and procedures and one (1) year experience in a clerical position and operation of word processing equipment or equivalent combination of training and/or experience. Proficient in Microsoft Application/Computer Literacy. Summit County Residency. Fingerprint and background checks conducted.
$13.25 per hour (Pay Level 6)
