Job Summary

Under direction, responsibilities and essential duties include: Greet and receive customers with appointments for utility assistance; conduct face-to-face, telephonic and/or virtual  customer documentation screening with review and verification of customers’ required paperwork for specific program application and assistance, prior to eligibility assessment interviews with intake specialists; serve as communication liaison between customer and intake specialist staff; operate a multi-line phone system; receive and respond to all incoming customer calls, answer questions, route calls to the appropriate person and/or area and return calls, as applicable; inform customers of other program services, as applicable, within the agency or other community resources; conduct clerical and data entry duties; maintain program records for filing and storage; utilize computer software programs to enter data, upload client documents, research and retrieve data; perform other related duties, as assigned

Requirements

Completion of High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) certificate; proficient computer/word processing aptitude (i.e. ability to work in MS Applications such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook); knowledge of basic math functions; excellent organizational and customer service skills, ability to prioritize workload and meet deadline; minimum six months of demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities in office practices, procedures, customer service, clerical/secretarial responsibilities that required the handling multi-phone lines; valid State of Ohio Driver’s License and transportation (minimal travel may be required for training and coverage at other locations; criminal background checks conducted.

Pay Rate

$13.57 per Hour /$1,085.60 bi-weekly, (Pay Level 5)
