JOB SUMMARY
Under supervision, assist with implementation of Head Start Performance Standards and all applicable federal and state standards for services to children ages birth to five (5) years of age; provide on-site coaching for Head Start/Early Head Start teaching staff in order to improve child school readiness outcomes; conduct classroom activity assessments; implement small group trainings and discussion groups for teachers on various research based child development topics; provide feedback and professional development guidance; discuss data outcomes; provide coaching/mentoring and demonstrate/ model techniques to teachers to improve teacher-child interactions; provide instructional support; perform other duties as assigned/required.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum, four-year (4) degree in early childhood education or child development or related degree, three (3) years demonstrated experience working in the field of early childhood education, and/or equivalent combinations of experience and training; computer literacy; successful completion of physical examination including TB, as required, possession of a valid State of Ohio driver’s license and transportation as position requires on-going/scheduled travel; Summit County residency within 12 months of employment; criminal background checks conducted
PAY RATE
$1,558.40 bi-weekly ($19.48 per hour)/Pay Level 25

SITE ASSIGNMENT
Head Start/Early Head Start Centers are located throughout Summit County. Worksite assignments are based on program needs and subject to change at time of hire and during the course of employment.
