EITC Program Administrator

Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC)/ Tax Preparation Program 

Reports to: 

Senior Vice President & CFO 

Job Summary: 

Under general direction, plans, develops, implements and monitors assigned community-driven program and/or activities by providing guidance and assistance to assure compliance with federal, state, local and agency regulations governing funded social service programs and/or services: provides training, learning resources, and technical assistance in pursuit of quality community service; supervises and directs assigned staff and/or operations. Responsible for overall administration and supervision of the EITC program; Maintains existing VITA organizations in Summit County; Oversee outreach activities to market EITC program; Oversee volunteer recruitment training and placement; Maintains effective communication with the IRS Coordinator; Coordinates ETIC Coalition correspondence and meetings in cooperation with the CEO; Maintains EITC Program files. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements: 

Completion of 4-year degree in finance, business administration or related discipline and two (2) years’ experience in tax preparation or equivalent combinations of training and/or experience. State of Ohio Driver’s License and transportation (some/ frequent travel required); weekends as needed and/or required; fingerprint & background checks conducted

Salary: 

$32.28 per hour (Pay Grade 27)

Regular, Part-Time, Seasonal and Exempt 

Work Schedule: 

Regular work hours Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm (Some weekend and evenings required)
