Director, Social & Special Programs
Under general direction, plans, develops, implements and monitors assigned community-driven initiatives by providing guidance and assistance to assure compliance with federal, state, local and agency regulations governing funded social service programs and/or services: provides training, learning resources, and technical assistance in pursuit of quality community services; supervises and directs assigned staff and/or operations. Works closely with others to identify neighborhoods in greatest need; identifies new initiatives and design strategies for alleviating neighborhood issues. Performs other duties as assigned.
Completion of 4-year degree in social service, business administration or related discipline and two (2) years’ experience in community service operation or equivalent combinations of training and/or experience. State of Ohio Driver’s License and transportation (some/ frequent travel required); weekends as needed and/or required; fingerprint & background checks conducted; Summit County residency required.
$50,814.40 annualized / $24.43 per hour (Pay Grade 27)

Regular, Full-time, Year-around and Exempt
Regular work hours Monday- Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm
