JOB SUMMARY
Under direction, in accordance with established program standards and other applicable regulations and guidelines, responsible for achieving and maintaining full enrollment of age eligible children ages six weeks to five to participate in Early Head Start and Head Start programs; execute various recruitment strategies including canvassing, complete assessment and eligibility determination,; input data into software tracking system; perform record keeping tasks and maintain children files for wait list, transfer, withdrawal and program termination; serve as liaison with community agencies, parent groups and families to promote program services; monitor children’s files for up-to-date eligibility maintenance documentation and compliance; participate in home visits, as required; prepare and submit required reports; attend staff meetings, training and workshops; perform related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent with one year demonstrated experience working in social service and/or community action programs, or equivalent combinations of training and experience must have a valid State of Ohio Driver’s License and transportation (regular travel required for across the Summit County area for recruitment of eligible children and families); computer literacy; post-employment physical and criminal background checks conducted
HIRE Rate
$14.52 per hour / $1,161.60 Bi-weekly & $15.02 per hour / $1,201.60 following successful completion of 6-month probation (Pay Level 6)
CLASSIFICATION/SCHEDULE
Regular, Full-time, Non-Exempt, 12-month/year-around work schedule
SITE ASSIGNMENT
Centralized Recruitment and Enrollment Office (CREO) or may be assigned to site based on program needs. Day-to-day responsibilities requires regular travel in assigned recruitment areas across Summit County
