Child Development Center (CDC) Supervisor
In accordance with established program standards, state and federal regulations, work as a floater (short or long-term site assignment) to provide classroom coverage to infants, toddlers, and preschoolers (ages 6 weeks – 5) assigned to child development centers throughout the Summit County service area; and provide a safe, healthy and compliant environment for care and development. Responsibilities include: carryout daily lesson plan; prepare and implement age-appropriate curriculum and developmental experiences; supervise children in the classroom and during other developmentally appropriate activities; write individual education plans, as applicable; conduct developmental screenings, parent-teacher conferences and home visits; promote parent involvement in the classroom and/or center through implementation of center activities and parent meetings; track and report parent volunteer and in-kind hours/donations; conduct inventory of classroom equipment and supplies; maintain current record-keeping compliant with program procedures; attend staff meetings, training and workshops; perform other related duties as required.
Minimum, 2-Year degree (Associate) in Early Childhood Education (ECE) /Child Development and two (2) years demonstrated experience working with young children; must have a valid State of Ohio Driver’s License and transportation (some travel required for home visits, training and getting to/from assigned worksite located across the Summit County area); computer literacy; criminal background checks conducted.
$14.20 p/hr, Pay Level 8 (2-Year Degree, ECE/Child Development)
$15.63 p/hr, Pay Level 9 (4-Year Degree, ECE/Child Development)
