Job Summary
Under direction, this confidential position provides primary office support to the Associate Head Start Director on a day-to-day basis and other related responsibilities as assigned and/or directed. Key responsibilities include:
- Administrative Support Associate Head Start Director – Conduct typing, filing, duplication, collect, collate and distribute information; schedule meetings; prepare purchase orders; order office supplies; organize and maintain site-based records; and support data entry of non-federal share volunteer hours;
- Front Desk Reception Coverage – Provide back-up support to front desk reception for lunchtime and other coverage, as assign (answer multi-line telephone; assist with processing incoming and outgoing mail and greet and assist visitors);
- Site-based Management/Coordination Team Support - Assist with special projects, duplication, collation, and preparation of various documents, flyers, parent handbook, training materials, etc.; and
- Other Duties - Attend staff meetings, training and workshops; perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
Must have High School Diploma or GED and one year working in an office environment carrying out clerical/office support duties; Brings to the position strong organizational and time management skills; ability to multitask and problem-solve in a professional environment; proficiency with data entry and general computer applications; excellent communication and customer service skills; and attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks Successful completion of physical examination, has reliable transportation (minimal travel across service area/Summit County for training/ongoing professional development may be required); Fingerprint and background checks conducted (FBI, BCI&I, Sex Offender Registry and Child Abuse and Neglect).
Pay Rate
$16.76 per hour (Pay Level 6)
